I apologize for the lack of a substantive post this week. I have driven from Tallahassee to Montgomery and back three times in the past seven days in an effort to clear out our house in Montgomery as well as my office on the Faulkner campus.
It felt like one of the labors of Hercules, but I’m happy to say that after 10-12 hours on campus and a similar number at the house (in addition to the drive time), both spaces are cleared and ready for new activity (by someone else).
Now there are many boxes to unpack in Tallahassee, but that seems more manageable than what has been happening the past week.
I’ll be back in the coming week with a substantive post. Thanks for your patience.
Best wishes and God speed.
